Gather to learn - scatter to share

We’re a dynamic, young, non-denominational Christian Church, serving a compassionate, kind, expanding congregation, striving to grow to serve our community more completely. The congregation has a "non-lecture" format. Instead, we provide an "Interactive Message." An interactive message offers anyone opportunity to learn the Bible, (God's Words). We center on Jesus Christ, as He is the Word made Flesh. The teaching offers easy application to live calm, anxiety-free, and abundantly happy, lives on Earth.  Those who come, gather to learn and apply Biblical insights to their own lives, and then scatter into their circle of influence in the commuty to share the Good News they've learned and applied.

Our Multi-Focused Mission

Our mission has a few core foundations.

Focus 1) To connect new people with God and re-connect those who got lost along life's journey. We lead people to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit who resides in us. We do so by prioritizing the central teachings of the Bible in relevant ways that emphasize a personal relationship with Jesus. 

Focus 2) To provide every person at Connection Church the opportunity to ask questions until they are confident, they "Understand God's Words." Matthew 13:19 warns us that when someone doesn't understand the Word of God, the evil one comes and steals away what was sown in their heart. We successfully accomplish this through "Interactive Messages." We learn as Jesus taught - through conversations.

Focus 3) It's about making sure this church family isn't focused on being about a building, a program, or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing how very much God loves us. It is recognizing the needs of others, and finding ways to help them balance the issues of everyday living, so they can live a calm, anxiety-free, and happy life.

It is part of the leadership's heart to grow sufficiently so we can offer a Christian K-8 school - "TUITION FREE!"

Yes, "Tuition Free." We want to offer families who cannot afford the high tuition rates of a Christian Worldview education at local churches, a hopeful opportunity that their children will be emerging leaders for Christ. Connection Church seeks to an opportunity to save the next generations from the negative, secular, ungodly influences, of this current fallen world cultural agendas. To do this, we need your help to grow. We need a building to support the next priority of focus, "Focus 4."

Current Meetings

Our main service begins every Sunday morning with doors opening at 10am for coffee/pastry/ and inspiring conversations. Come early, meet the family and hear some testimonies about growth and life changes. The Hope in Scripture offers anybody change. We can change. Then at 10:30 Worship begins, followed by our "Interactive Message." Thursdays, the lady's study meets from 6 to 7pm.

Our Leadership

Connection Church is guided by a leadership team who provide overall direction and watch over the spiritual needs of the church. Our Senior Pastoral team is led by Mark and Serina Amerman. Mark is a current Adjunct Professor for several Christian Universities having earned multiple Graduate degrees and facilitating both graduate and undergraduate studies in Theology, Psychology, Marriage and Family, Ministerial Training, and Leadership and Organizational Development in Christian Ministries.  Serina serves as an Executive Assistant in the banking industry. Together God has blessed them to "build a life they love" and "being better together," their first love is the church. Certainly not exempt from the pressures of this fallen world, they have been blessed to endure more than 30 years of marriage. Every experience God allowed is designed to help others.

Our Associate Pastoral team is Michael and Amanda Thulin. Michael and Amanda have over 11 years of marriage experiences to share. Michael currently serves his community through one of the largest global media and technology companies in the United States. Michael started his career with this giant and then moved into the printing business for 20+ years until recently reuniting with his old company. Michael has been a faithful and committed friend and partner in planting several churches. Amanda serves in a leadership role helping the public in a federal government program. Amanda assists with the church's audio systems during service times. Both teams are knitted together in Christ and committed to provide you and your family, sound, practical, biblical teaching. Connection Church is very blessed to have leadership teams who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Our team's lives are embedded in one sentence:
